Rachel J. Goldberg, Personal Floral Designer was established in August, 2001 in Greenwich, CT. After taking many classes at the New York Botanical Gardens in The Bronx, NY, I decided to take a leap and begin an events only flower service.

 

After my two sons were born and gaining a few years experience designing for clientele in the Metro NY/CT area, opportunity knocked. Without hesitation I moved my family and business back to my hometown of Simsbury, CT, where I have continued to provide event based flowers for the majority of my tenure in the industry.

And then the world changed, an unprecedented point in history, COVID-19 changed all that my business celebrated. Weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, graduations, retirement parties, bridal and baby showers and, of course, funerals all ceased to happen. I knew my business needed to pivot in order to meet the newly created demand.

​

Celebrating beautiful everyday events is now my focus here in my hometown. Not only should we celebrate the major events that make up our life. But we should be celebrating the everyday, today, the present, the "just because" and soak in all that life has to offer. Looking back on 2020, if there is anything I learned it is that tomorrow is not promised, only today. Celebrate today.
